Renaissance is a Quebec non-profit social enterprise, founded in 1994, that collects donated used clothing and household goods and resells them through a network of thrift stores (friperies) and donation centres across the province. It uses 100% of the revenue generated to fund its employment-integration program, which provides paid work pathways and free job-search assistance to help people who face barriers return to the labour market. In doing so it also diverts millions of kilograms of clothing and household items from landfill each year, giving donated goods a second life.
